The deputy chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Lawali Shuaibu, has asked the national head of the ruling party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, to resign - Shuaibu said that Oshiomhole should resign, since according to him, he is not adding value to the party - He further alleged that Oshiomhole lacks the necessary composure, capabilities and the requisite experience to run a political party Another wave of heat has hit the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Senator Lawali Shuaibu, the party's deputy national chairman has demanded for the resignation of the party’s national boss, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Vanguard reports.
Addressing Oshiomhole in a six-page letter, Shuaibu opined that in developed nations leaders who are unable to impact on those they are leading or improve upon antecedent leave office with honour.
In the letter titled APC: Its fortune and misfortune, time to act, Shuaibu said: “It is my honest opinion that your ability to ensure this party flourishes is deficient as you lack the necessary composure and you also don’t posses the capabilities and the requisite experience to run a political party.” Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the APC had appointed a new acting national publicity secretary for the party. Victor Giadom, a former executive chairman of Gokana local government area also served as commissioner for works in the Rotimi Amaechi administration in Rivers state from 2011 to 2015. Giadom also served as the director general of the Greater Together Governorship Campaign Organisation of APC in 2015 and a running mate to Tonye Cole in the 2019 governorship election for APC.
