Exclusive: confusion in Uduaghan's family as ex- Governor's brother joins legislative contest

A major political confusion may be brewing in the Uduaghan family of Warri Kingdom following strong speculations that one Matthew Uduaghan, cousin to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has joined the Warri Federal Constituency race in 2019.
The relatively unknown Matthew Uduaghan who may be an ally of Hon. Michael Diden A.K.A. Ejele, is the newest entrant to the race which already has the likes of Chief Thomas Ereyitomi and Hon. Daniel Mayuku of Delta State House of Assembly.
Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan
Already Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan's senatorial ambition ahead 2019 is common knowledge and another of their own, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan, who is Delta State Commissioner for Transport, is believed to be weighing the opportunity of contesting for the Warri South Constituency 1 seat in 2019.
Fresh Angle can however report that political gladiators in Warri Federal Constituency are gearing up to resist the Uduaghan family on the grounds that the family alone cannot produce three contestants to the detriment of others.

An impeccable source hinted your soaring International tabloid that while the uncertain Vincent Uduaghan may be willing to forget his House of Assembly ambition, the big headache for the Uduaghan family to resolve will be who will back down between former Governor Uduaghan, a senatorial aspirant and the relatively unknown Matthew Uduaghan gunning for the Warri Federal Consistency seat currently being occupied by Hon. Daniel Reyenieju.

“We the Isoko youths are aware that Hon. Benjamin Okiemute, is a strong supporter of Buhari and notable APC chieftain in Delta State, but we appeal to him to remain focus and committed to his vision of attracting federal government presence to Isoko nation, and commend his uncommon contributions to human empowerment and development of Isoko nation”, He said.

Akpovoka said ” it is on record and verifiable that President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress APC won only in Isoko south LGA with 10,000 votes and failed in the other 24 local governments in Delta State, at the 2015 presidential election, but despite these facts, the APC has failed to reciprocate the votes, contributions and efforts of Isoko South to the present administration”.

Elo Edremoda
The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Zanna Ibrahim, has vowed to arrest and duly prosecute anyone or group that will hinder the smooth conduct of the council elections across the state on Saturday, 6 January, 2018.

The CP also warned against vehicular activities within the state from 6am to 3pm.

According to a press release circulated on Tuesday by DSP Andrew Aniamaka, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), the order follows the elections' exercise scheduled to take place in the 25 council areas of Delta state.

Noting the effect of the restriction order on commuters passing Delta State to other states, Ibrahim urged them to take other routes or reschedule their trips.
