Former gubernatorial candidate and leader of the All
Progressives' Congress (APC) in Delta state, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor has
charged Nigerians, particularly Deltans, to support the party in this new year
to ensure effective development.
Giving the charge in his new year release circulated to
newsmen in Warri by his media aide, Aghogho Orotomah, yesterday, the business
mogul welcomed Nigerians into the year 2018.
Further expressing thanks to God for the smooth ride into
the brand new year, Emerhor noted that mankind has been presented with another
opportunity to impact the world positively.
Tasking Deltans to work with the President Muhammadu
Buhari-led administration he urged them to seize their prosperity by standing
firm, adding that the poor political and economic situation experienced in the
past 18 years will soon be washed away.
Parts of the release reads thus: "Olorogun Emerhor is ecstatic
that Nigerians and indeed the world have a new opportunity to make the world a
better place and urged all men of goodwill to work harmoniously for peace, joy
and prosperity to reign among men in the new year!
"Emerhor, in particular, wishes all Deltans a most
prosperous new year ahead. He also encouraged Deltans, to in this new year
stand up for themselves, take their fortunes in their hands and work with the
ruling Federal APC government and the APC in Delta State in its committed
mission to rescue the state from the 18 years of bad government, misrule,
pillage and under development of the state by the past and incumbent PDP
governments! Deltans should no longer despair as liberation is near."
