Postponement of the basic education certificate examination

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform the general public, especially parents and students,
that the resit examination for the Basic Education Certificate
Examination (BECE), earlier scheduled for Saturday, September 14, has
been postponed to Saturday, September 21, 2019.

The postponement is due to the late release of scratch cards by some
school heads to students for the checking of results.

The state Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education regrets any
inconvenience the shift in day may cause all stakeholders in the State
Education Project.
