The people of Ozoro kingdom in Isoko North council area of Delta state have joined calls across the country for the abolishment of cow grazing.
The Ozoro Progress Union (OPU), umbrella body in the kingdom made this stand at its just concluded National Delegates Conference, held at the council's secretariat in Ozoro.
This is coming in the wake of several alleged Fulani herdsmen attacks in the states across the federation, a very recent one in nearby Ossissa Community in Ndokwa East council area of the state.
Noting the conflict and anguish attacked communities have been thrown into, the OPU resolved that government should abolish cow grazing to avoid destruction of their crops and other and salvage acts unleashed on victims.

Also reached was a decision of N200,000 fine on individuals who build houses on roads and a N100,000 fine on indigenes who will not affiliate with the union.
Speaking with Isoko Mirror, the president general, Engr. Clifford Anakpoha, described the meeting as authentic", said its essence was to ensure unity and more development in Ozoro.
"The essence of this meeting is to make sure there is unity in the kingdom. We have to improve on what is on ground, in projects, in education and other areas," he stated.
Asked for comments on the construction of the state of the art stadium in Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, Anakpoha commended the school's management, led by Dr. Jacob Oboreh, for its good deed.
