Ikpe private schools holds 2018 graduation and prize giving ceremony

The Ikpe private schools has held their 2018 graduation and prize giving ceremony on the 21^st July 2018 at Christ chosen church international open space located at Sanusi street, Ajegunle in Ajeromi Ifelodun local government area of Lagos state.

The event attracted dignitaries across Lagos state, including parents and guardians to witness the performances of the graduating students, Just as students and pupils showcase their talents acquired in the course of their training in the schools to the admiration of parents and guardians, including guests.

Meanwhile in her opening remark, the chairlady who stood in for the chairman of the occasion, Mrs. Patience Igharo, she thanked all guests, including parents and guardians present at the occasion for finding time to grace this memorable occasion designed to rejoice and appreciate the children is something to appreciate God almighty. She committed the day ceremony to the hands of God almighty for making the day a reality.

In a welcome speech by the director of studies, pastor Daniel Ikpeku, he thanked the parents and guardians including the invited guests present for finding time to attend the day occasion, while urging the outgoing students to be good ambassadors, he nostalgically noted that Ikpe private schools has been in existence for the past 30 years has contributed immensely to the growth and development of education in Nigeria, noting that Ikpe private schools can compete anywhere because the school management over the time has engaged high level of teachers who can compete anywhere with their counter part as result of that, the school is known for high standard and one of the best private school making Ajeromi Ifelodun local government area of Lagos state proud in the areas of academic performance, morals and sports.

While explaining further, he used the medium to inform the gathering that Ikpe private schools students has been listed among the Lagos state athletics group because of their recent outstanding performance when they represented the local govt in a competition organized by the state athletics.

Highlight of the ceremony includes: awards and prizes given teachers and students.

Three teachers were recognized for their recognition of their outstanding performance in 2017/2018 under review for their immense contributions to the growth and development of the school. Miss Alabi Olufunke received an award as the best staff, Mr. Esifo got an award as the best leader while Mr. Chidi got the award of the best teacher.

Prize were also given to the outgoing students while best students were given prizes for their great academic performances during the year under review.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the occasion, who is also the chairman of Ikpe private schools parents teachers association, (PTA) Mr. Idris Mohammed in his closing remark, he appealed to parents and guardians and well-wishers to always support Ikpe private schools to grow to enhancing the right development of the children.
