Sir, Othihiwa also said that as Isoko custom require I presented a kolanut and he accepted and pray for me and that was the beginning and that gingered me into consultation with all other various groups in Isoko nation.

He further said that "I have done several consultation and the outcome of the consultation is that Isoko nation is desire of a change and that change is what I am are going to give to Isoko come 2019".Therefore, I have come to IDU to solicit their support for this mandate in order to transform the Isoko nation.

He reiterate that when you seek to represent the people you have to consult them and the people have to give you the approval of the mandate, therefore I can't sit in my house and say I want to represent them, hence the reason I am consulting IDU the umbrella body of  the entire Isoko nation.

He however assured that, the projects that are met for Isoko nation will be executed according to purpose not for personal aggrandisement if given the mandate, noting that he want to take the issue of Isoko seriously especially the needs of Isoko, while he will be at the forefront and look for solutions.

When asked by newsmen on how he can tackle the issues of unemployment in Isoko if given the mandate, Sir, Othihiwa noted that unemployment is a global issue, but through creative ways it can be tackle, noting the, they first thing to note in Isoko is that what is our comparative advantage? What is it that in Isoko we are most skilled at?, then we have to build on that. Our mainstream is agriculture and fishing but today, it is at a very subsistence level just for me and my household to eat.

He however affirmed that, if given the mandate he will involve the Isoko youths strategically in agriculture such as fishery where he will empower 100 people each from every community in Isoko and provide them with the input through training and build fish ponds with the feeds.

He assured that he will find opportunity for the Isoko people within the federal ministry for the people in order to have their own share noting that we shouldn't forget that there supposed to be Federal character in the way things are supposed to be done. And then, Isoko will have the right level of people in various offices.

He also pointed out that for Isoko to have the next generation of leaders we must seek out students  who have first class, second class who are Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers and other field of knowledge pull them together in a group and find a way to actually equip them with leadership skills and support them, place them in better position in the country and outside the country.

Also speaking at the consultative meeting the president general of Isoko Development Union High Chief Iduh Amadhe  said that "I commend our son for at least for coming to say he want to contest for House of Reps,by all standard he is qualify for the position"

High Chief Amadhe however encourage Sir, Ayodele Othihiwa to do his politicking in a civilized manner without rancour and let his supporters to know that we want peace in Isoko."Tell your party members they should all support you at the end of the day you will be in Abuja to represent the Isoko people”.

The IDU president general also disclose that the Isoko tradition has change "any person who goes to represent Isoko, once the Isoko name is on your head, yearly you have to come and give us your report. Your report card is very important in order for us to get the needed development in Isoko "

He further said that it is only patriotic Isoko politicians that can do it for the Isoko nation, noting that Isoko don't want selfish politicians to represent them, this time around, what is on ground is more than individuals.

On his part Chief Dennis Etaluku  said that Sir, Ayodele Oghogho Othihiwa is more than qualify and competent for the position he is vying for, noting that in the area of finance and international management he is well abreast.

Chief Etaluku further said that for ages Igbide has been supporting whoever is contesting from anywhere in Isoko, I have been supporting them, this time around it is time to support my own, support Igbide.

He reiterate that anything that has beginning must surely come to an end it can't be forever if Igbide takes it for one or two term another area in Isoko should also take it because this is the milk from the mother breast, only one child cannot finish it because the woman have other children to breastfeed too, noting that he has brought a man who will push other people aside not a man that will be push aside.
