changed 3 prison inmates destiny

John Odalonu will forever be indebted to Governor Okowa’s aide, Mr Ovie success
Ossai who offset the times imposed on them recently by a Magistrate Court.
The above three person were Jailed for Tricycle theft, breaking
and entering and phone theft in different parts of Delta state, with option of
30,000 fine each.
Isoko Mirror gathered that after the pronouncement of their jail
terms, they could not raise the money to avoid going to jail.
However, the three inmates were already serving various jail
terms at the medium security prison in Oqwashi-uku, Aniocha South Local
Government area of Delta State before succor came from Okowa’s aide, Mr. Ovie
Success Ossai who offset their bills and were sert free.the freed inmates were
extremely happy after their release, recounted their separate ordils which led
them to the Ogwashi-uku prison which
according to them is housing hundreds of inmates, many of which are awaiting
trial.
Dominic Igwe who is 53 years old and a father of three, said he
was ingloriously hauled into prison by his former boss, Mr Kelechi onyedetu
Oscer mysteriously disappearance of his tricycle popularity called keke from
the stadium complex, along the popular Nnebisi road asaba.
Igwe narrated that the tricycle was handed over to him based on
the understanding that he will remit 860,000 and only 115,000 was remitted
before the misfortune set in and found himself in jail without listening to him
by his boss.
“I explained to him all that happened, but he never believed me.
I was invited to the A Division police station in Asaba from where I was
arrested and charged to court. I could not finance the prosecution of the case
and after the legal process, on December 2, 2016, I was sentenced to prison for
three years, but to serve two years having remained under detention for one
year and six months," Igwe said.
The 23 year old Idu endurance confessed to his crime that he
actually broke into a super market shop at Ejeme-Aniogor, a rural community in
Anwcha South local Government area of the State and he was apprehended by a
group of local vigilante while returning from a mission he thought was
successful.
He almented that from the day he was sentenced to one year
imprisonment with an option of 30, 000 fine, no one single person visited him,
nothing that the experience has shown him a lesson that whatever crime he
commits, he is on his own.
“The experience has shown me a lesson that whatever crime I
commit henceforth, I am on my own” he said.
Master Odalonu who lives with his Octogenarian grandmother stole
a Techno T407 handset and as he was charging the said hand set, in a barbing
saloon, the owner of the hand set and the local vigilante swooped on him and
handed him over to court and sentenced to jail term.
While the three of them were serving their various ajil term,
little did they know that freedom was coming their way as Mr Ovie success
Ossai, personal assistance to Governor Okowa on special duties (media) was
about celebrating his birthday, a ceremony he has chosen to share with
prisoners, and the inmates, Dominic, Enduarnce, and Odalonu who had obviously
lost hopes in their dream of enjoying freedom were surprisingly set free on
January 2, 2017 as part of his birthday package.
The governor’s aide, Ossai, who is the youngest serving
political appointee in the Okowa’s government, expressed satisfaction that he
was able to put smiles on the faces of the inmates who may have lost hopes of
regaining freedom until the end of their jail term.
