Africa child day, Oscar celebrates with children

The African child day has been set aside by African leaders as a day to look at the issues militating against the growth, development and progress of the African child and how to proffer solutions to the progress of the African child and grow and progress at the same pace with its counterpart from other continents.
In identifying with the African child and have a sense of belonging High chief Dr. Oscar Itimi, the medical director of Oscar trado-medical centre located at Alasia in Ijanikin area of Lagos state, gathered children within his environment in Alasia to celebrate with them on the 16th of June 2018 so as to make the children have a sense of belonging.
All the children present went home with gifts after they have been entertained with music and served with food and drinks to the satisfaction of everyone, including parents and guardians.
Dr. Oscar Itimi who spoke to Isoko mirror, he stressed the importance of bringing children together and making them feel sense of belonging, noting that this has been a yearly ceremony.
“I want to thank God for the life of the children and we, the parents also I do this every year to show love and make the children have a sense of belonging, not forgetting the fact that they are the future leaders of tomorrow, so showing love also make them to know how to show love, when eventually they become leaders”. He said.
