It is no doubt that Nigerians are a talented group of people who always find a way to achieve commendable feats wherever they find themselves. Such is the case of 18-year-old Daniel Obaji, who has become the youngest graduate in the New York University, Abu Dhabi.
In a post shared by @Diasporaq, it was disclosed that the young genius does not intend to hang his boots just yet, as he plans to enroll for his PhD in biology, come September 2019. The young Nigerian graduate will be focusing on computational biology, which is a combination of computer studies and biology.
Reacting to Obaji’s story, some Twitter users commended the young man for his achievement, but also pointed out the case of a 15-year-old Nigerian kid, Ekene Francis Ezeunala, who scored the highest mark at the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but was denied admission into the University of Lagos, because of his age.
