Few years after becoming a minister, veteran nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo shocks many as he graduates with law degree

Graduating from college or university is a unique experience. It’s a time when you feel excited, sad, and everything in between; and that’s completely normal but when you’re past your prime and are still able to achieve this great feat, then you deserve accolades. Veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has made himself and his fans proud after bagging a degree from University of Abuja. This major feat is coming years after he became a born again Christian.


The 57-year-old actor announced his latest feat on social media by sharing a clip of himself and some of his course mates at their convocation ceremony. Kanayo who has been a stellar actor of his time bagged a degree in law. As he relished his proud moment, he also congratulated his course mate, Elizabeth Ayua, who he revealed graduated with a first class from the same department and faculty.

Kanayo began his acting career in 1992 when he made his debut appearance in a movie titled The Bondage. Over two decades later and he is still making boss moves. He is currently a United Nations ambassador and bears the title of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).

It’s common knowledge that the love for God can make people do things that they normally would not do. Due to this love for the Heavenly Father, some have abandoned their worldly lifestyles, given up bad habits and made other huge decisions. This veteran actor is one of them.

This veteran Nollywood actor, whose real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, excelled at ritualistic roles. However, things have changed since he became a minister. According to several sources, he has been spotted teaching the word of God at Christ Mission Worldwide Church, Egbeda.
