Chief Ofo for burial Oct., 27 in Emede

The burial date of Late High chief Joseph Onothome Ofo (FCA, ACTI), a financial guru, philanthropist, publisher and a community leader has been fixed for October 27, 2017 in Emede town in Isoko south local government area of Delta state. He died on the 13th of June 2017 after a brief illness.

Late High Chief Ofo was the founder/managing partner: Onothome Ofo Thirwel & co., chairman: Joja Educational Research and Publishers. Ltd and Chairman Joja press Ltd. He was honoured with the Isoko merit award, the personality achievement award, PSR Development in Nigeria merit award.
In recognition of his philanthropist gestures and development to humanity Okpe Isoko kingdom honoured him with a chieftaincy title as the Atanuru (talknado) of Okpe Isoko and Ozoro kindom also bestowed on him Onaroseha of Ozoro kingdom.
As a community leader, he was a regular member of Emede progress union, member Isoko leader of thought, member Isoko club 2000, and patron Isoko students union.
He is survived by wife, Dr(Mrs.) Janet Ofo (Phd) and children. 

Lagos wake-keep will take place on 13th October 2017 at No 5 Ofo Street, Pedro, Shomolu by 2pm.
