The Former Divisional Police officer (DPO) of Ajeromi
ifelodun Divisional police Heaquarters, CSP (chief) Robinson Eregare (Rtd) has
officially been retired from the Nigeria police force.
He was officially pulled out on the 1st September
2017 after 35years meritorious service to the nation without a blemish.
Eregare who won the best DPO of Lagos state for five (5)
times was described as a role model and mentor whose sterling and quality
leadership is worth emulating by any discerning mind.
Eregare made giant strides in all the Divisional police
Headquarters, he held sway as DPO. He was able to prove to his subordinates
that leadership is all about serving the people because a visit to some of the
Divisions managed by him will convince you of his administrative leadership
qualities impacted on those Divisions.

For instance, Eregare constructed a conference Hall at
ijanikin police Divisional Headquarters that was officially commissioned by the
then, commissioner of police CP Aderanti, now AIG in charge of Zone1 AIG.
Aderanti who commended the effort of Eregare regretted that it was not in his
purview and jurisdiction to promote, otherwise he would have unilaterally
promoted Eregare on the spot, while urging other DPOs at the ceremony to
emulate Eregare and promised to recommend him for promotion.
Eregare has always been described as a man who is highly
respected and esteemed by his subordinates in all the Divisions he managed as
DPO before his recent retirement.
Recall that, back home in Agbon kingdom of Ethiope East
Local Government Area of Delta state, Eregare was conferred with the highest
traditional title of Okakuro in recognition of his selfless service and support
to humanity and his magnanimity to the youths and Urhobo nation in general.
According to sources, the Okakuro title gives him the green light to join the
league of the highest title holders in Agbon kingdom and also holds the title
of Odeyovwi of Agbon kingdom.
Finally, the police community has described Eregare as a man
who is humble with sense of decorum. He is approachable and accessible without
any form impediments, in other words, he was known for operating an open door
policy without any form of discrimination during his days as police officers.
