IDU election: Ofoh declares intention to contest says more to be done

Sir, (Dr) Francis Akpothabor Ofoh (KSC) has declared his intention to contest the position of the President-General of the Isoko Development union (IDU) in the December 2017 forth-coming delegates conference which will hold at the unity house.

Dr Ofoh who is currently the executive Chairman of Owhelogbo community development union branches council (OCDUBC) disclosed this recently at his country home in Owhelogbo, Isoko local government area of Delta state. While commending the effort of the outgoing administration headed by Chief Iduh Amaidhe, he done to improve on the performances of the out-going administration.
He stressed that, where his heart lies at the moment, if eventually, he is elected is to create more collaboration with the Isrealis to generate independent electricity using gas turbines and to complete the IDU ultra-modern house and ensuring that there is peace and security in Isoko nation.
His other agenda includes:
To organize workshops, seminas and training for women every year, to empower the youths using the existing structures of the Federal government e.g. pipeline surveillance, to ensure that women are financially empowered in their day to day business by giving them substantial amount of money so as to be focused in their areas of trade.
And finally to uplift the standard of the Royal institution in community development planning
Recalled that Dr Ofoh was the former president IDU warri branch, Former chairman Isoko branches council (IBC) and former chairman candidate of the National Republican Convention (NRC) Isoko local government area of the dejunct Bendel state in 1990.
