A woman scalded her husband with hot water following a disagreement at their residence in Umuezeagu Okpuno Eze Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The incident, reports say, occurred on August 29, when the couple had a rift over what to buy for their kids.
The wife, Adaobi, was said to have been angered that her husband, Sunday Edona, bought the children N50 snacks without her knowledge.
The sachet water seller allegedly claimed that Sunday, a toothbrush seller, had made her waste money on buying egg for the kids, when the money could have served another purpose.
She allegedly confronted him and accused him of being irresponsible, as she is the breadwinner of the house.
Sunday reportedly told her that what they both bought for the kids weren’t too much.
Adaobi allegedly rained the hot water on Sunday during their heated confrontation.
Sunday was reportedly rushed him to Ebenator hospital, where he is currently recuperating.
