A former Industrial Training
Student, Sargent Buku Tobolayefa who paid a courtesy call to Isoko
Mirror office recently in Oleh has call on the industrial training students
from Anambra State University, Delta Polytechnic ,Ozoro and Otefe-Oghara to be
serious, creative, proactive and focus.
According to him, industrial
training (IT) is the criteria that prepare students to aspire to become
potential journalists, noting that the field work is the foundational point of
journalism.
He also pointed out that the
field work can be done successfully if one is serious and focus in pursuing
his/her ambition in the field of journalism, saying that they should be prepare
to ask relevant questions that will propel them to know all what it takes in
the profession.
He enjoin the IT students to
be ardent reader of books, magazines and Newspapers for them to know everything
from the 'Bible to Pornography' in order to meet up with the modern trend of
journalism .
He also admonish the IT
students to be of good behavior and have a code of dressing that must
differentiate them from others in the society, noting that journalists are not
known for indecent dressing.
Sargent Buku Tobolayefa who
did his IT with Isoko Mirror Newspaper in 2015 is a graduate from Delta state
university, Abraka
