The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ajeromi Police Station, CSP Busari F. Okunlola Psc has called on Ajegunle Youths to stay away from scenes of crimes as crime does no good to anyone.
He made this appeal while on interactive session with the Deputy Editor General of Isoko Mirror when the latter paid him a visit at his office.
While stressing the importance of peaceful co-existence among neighbours, he noted that there is need for parents and guardians to take the bull by the horn by advising their children and wards to steer clear from criminal activities, especially discouraging them from joining cults, arm robbery, gangsterism and other forms of criminal activities, stressing that this will help to grow a violence free society.
CSP Busari Okunlola while expressing his Division readiness to combat all kind of criminal activities, If put to test, he used the medium to call on all stakeholders to always co-operate with the Police and collectively put a stop to all criminal activities in the area and warned that the Police will not condone or tolerate any act of criminality in the area under his jurisdiction.
“I want to inform the people of Ajeromi that the Ajeromi Police Division under my supervision is ready at all times to combat all kind of criminal activities. I also urge all stakeholders to always co-operate with the police, collectively we all can reduce the crime rate to its barest minimum and I want to also use this medium to warn everybody in the area that the police will not condone any act of criminality in the area under my jurisdiction” he noted.
