Emede progress union elects new excos

.....as Dr Avae Okah becomes PG

The Emede Progress Unioin recently elect new executives to run the affairs of the union for the next 2 years.
The union election was held at the Emede community town hall, Isoko South local government area, Delta State.
Those elected are; Dr. Benson Avae Okah -President general, Mr. Believe Aso - 1st vice-president, Mr. Benjamin Ogwara 2nd vice-president, Engr.Richard Ebro -Secretary general, Deacon.Ibara Augustine assistant secretary, Mr. Benson Egbada-Treasurer, Mr. Matthew Igara-financial secretary, Mr. Endurance Okporokpo - assistant financial secretary, Mr. Ifoghale Ikopi - speaker 1, Mr. Shadrach Owofasa speaker 2, Mr. David Okpire - PRO 1, Mr. Ajiri Omozue -  PRO 2, Mr. Ugoro Daniel Ibru - Home branch chairman, Mr. Monday Ovoh  - vigilante-chairman,

Speaking to newsmen after his election, the newly elected president general Emede community Dr. Benson Avae Okah describe his election as historic due to the issue they were having before the election, saying that the will of God will always prevail no matter the situation.
He however assured that,the community will never regret electing him as their president general, noting that, he will work assiduously with the other executives to foster peace and development in the community.

The newly elected president general of Emede Progress Union also affirmed that,he will ensure there is synergy between Emede community, the Federal government ,State government and the local government council in order to attract meaningful development to the community.

He further said that, the community youths will be adequately train to acqure various skills that will be beneficial to make them to be self-reliance, positing that the Emede Art and Craft Centre will be fully utilise for the training of the teeming youths of the community.
"We  will liase with the State government on how to secure the facilities and how we can use it to train the youths of the community"

He also commended the effort of the fellow contestants, saying that they will all join hands and work together to ensure development and sustainable peace of the community.

Meanwhile the newly elected  2nd vice-president of the Union Mr. Benjamin Ogwara also stated that, "We are going to ensure there is maximum cooperation with the newly elected president general to ensure peace and sustainable development of the community.

He therefore called on the people of Emede community to remain united and peaceful, noting that unity and peaceful co-existence will attract meaningful  infrastructural and human capital development to the community.
