Deputy Senate President, DSP, Ovie Omo-Agege, has disowned some Facebook accounts credited to his name, saying he has just one verified Facebook account.
The Delta Central Senator made the disclaimer via his official twitter handle in the early hours of Friday, August 9.
Omo-Agege tweeted, "it has come to my attention that my pictures are being used to open some Facebook accounts. Please note that I did not authorise the creation of such accounts. They are all fake. I have only one Facebook account and that is this one that has been verified", bearing," Sen Ovie Omo-Agege Obarisi! I am the deputy senate president of Nigeria, Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District".
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Helen Oritsejafor, are among prominent Nigerians that have openly distanced themselves from fraudsters, who create Facebook accounts with the name of eminent Nigerians, with the intent to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
