The National Apostolic church of Nigeria (INC) faith Alive Centre branch 2, mission road, Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, has allegedly to have illegally acquired Odhoko Ikor  family parcel of Land situated at Utoho/Emega land in Esekpe Otuloho bush, Uruto quarter, Ozoro.
According to the family who are duly represented by Mr. Peter Ikor, Chief Joseph Ubeleke and Mrs. Christiana Ede (Nee Ikor) confirmed to imirroronline that, to their utmost surprise on the 2nd day of July, 2017, the Pastor and members of the church with their workers unlawfully entered the family land and started constructing a building foundation with a fence.
The fence that was constructed by National Apostolic church of Nigeria branch II, Mission road Ozoro, in the parcel of Odhoko Ikor family land
They also reiterate that, on the same day the family swung into action and arrested the Pastor and members of the church with the workers to the Ozoro Divisional Police Headquarter, were they discovered that some persons namely: Miller Obaro Ikor, Francis Ikor, Egbamuno Ikor, Friday Ikor and Ubara Omaro  had unlawfully sold a piece of land to the Pastor of the National Apostlic Church Branch II, Ozoro , noting that the aforementioned persons are ordinary members of the family, that they do not have the authority to sell the family land.
They further revealed that, the Police advised the Church to dialogue with the family. However, the family made it known to the Church and the Police that, they are not selling the parcel of land.
The family members also revealed that the Church vandalized the original foundation laid by Mrs. Christiana Ede (Nee Ikor) in the parcel of land and also used the blocks she molded to construct a fence and the building, saying that the acts and actions of the Church is criminal and dastardly.
The family further revealed that despite the advise by the Police to the Church to stop work and dialogue with the Odhoko Ikor family they still went ahead with the construction of the building and fencing of the land.
It was also revealed by the family, that the Pastor of the Church is boasting that they will never leave the land for the family.
However the family has made it clear to the Church that they did not sell the land to them, they are not even ready to sell the land to the Church, noting that, it is a cardinal rule of custom in Isoko of which Ozoro is part of, that ordinary members of the family cannot sell family land without the consent of the family Elders.
They therefore advise the Church to remove their structure from the land, that refusal to do so will lead to litigation.
All effort by imirroronline to hear the view of the Church prove abortive as they were unwilling to talk to our correspondent.
