9 Women, widows get sewing, grinding machines from rotary
He also advised them to ensure maintenance and call on experts to have the machines fixed whenever the need arises.
Some of the empowered women told Isoko Mirror that the items will no doubt improve their living conditions.
A young lady, Stephanie Enifome, who received a sewing machine said, " Even though I have others, this is a plus. God will bless Rotary."
Another, James Joy, a widow with four children, who was given a grinding machine expressed excitement as she said, "I have been looking forward to having this for years."
Yet another recipient, Christiana Diebroma, promised to dutifully use her grinding machine to make ends meet, just as she commended the club for the donation.
The items given out were two sewing machines, one in cash, and seven grinding machines.
