Ilolo Bags Isoko Ladies League International awards

Declares support for Okowa re-election

The commissioner Local Government Civil Service Commission Hon. Mrs. Catherine Ilolo recently bagged Isoko Ladies League International award in an event held at the Isoko Unity House, Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State. 

Speaking during an interview with our correspondent Hon. Mrs. Catherine Ilolo said that,  " I am happy for this recognition ,in life when you think people are not seeing, they are seeing what you are doing .They came to me that they are giving award that I have made so much impact in the life, of people in Isoko". 

Hon. Mrs. Ilolo also use the occasioned to re-affirmed total support for governor Ifeanyi Okowa re-election ,noting that come 2019 governor Okowa will be re-elected for second tenure.

Hon. Mrs. Ilolo also disclose that "I was the first woman that open the door for other women who are contesting today in Isoko land, before now it was a taboo for a woman to contest an election. 

She also pointed out that it was Late Major Igbehe  that came to call me then, I was a graduate teacher three years into the service, he said madam you are a woman of substance and integrity who has leadership quality and charisma, in the next House of Assembly, we are sending you to represent us. 

According to her, he took me to late High Chief Ubeku of blessed memory who also endorse me and people queue behind me during the primary and I defeated three male contestants and since then God has been faithful to me and my family. And with the little God has given to me I have been able to touched many lives.

Hon. Mrs. Ilolo  also urge the recipients of the sewing machine empowerment to utilise them judiciously, noting that our youths today want free money they don't want to work with their hands, some of the girls will prefer to go into prostitution and take money from those who are old enough to  be their father. 

They should put what has been given to them into used.The lord said I will bless the work of your hands, urging them not to sell the sewing machines given to them.

She also emphasize that," I am advocate of women integrity,we must ensure our young women have integrity and being discipline "

She further stated that, Isoko is a special race chosen by God and the Isoko  men and women are industrious people, as civilization is coming they shouldn't look down on themselves as inferior they can make it ,they should exploit and be united.
