Ochei versus Ogboru how it stands

Delta APC Guber Primary and the ongoing legal Dispute in Court: what has Rt Hon. Victor Ochei done differently from Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru that Ochei is now accused of being a sponsored spoiler against APC and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru?

Recently, I read and heard commentaries from some members of APC in Delta State accusing Rt Hon. Victor Ochei of being a PDP sponsored spoiler against APC and in particular, my Urhobo elder brother, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, ahead of 2019 Governorship Election in Delta State in order to pave the way for Gov. Okowa to cruise into a second term.
Rt Hon. Victor Ochei

Is this not the same way these people accused Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru of being a sponsored spoiler against my Urhobo Nation and in particular, our Urhobo brother, then Gov. James Onanafe Ibori when Chief Great Ogboru instituted and or spare-headed legal actions up to Supreme Court against then Gov. Ibori over alleged ex-convict Case and Election Petitions arising from 2003, 2007, 2011 Re-run and 2011 Fresh Governorship  elections in Delta State?

But Chief Great Ogboru vehemently dismissed their accusations and consistently defended his actions saying that he is not a man who will allow injustice he perceives done against him to go unresolved. And to resolve this he insists on approaching only the Court of Law rather than resort to self-help and or recruit boys to take up violent protests. I totally agreed with him.

In fact, in year 2012, Chief Great Ogboru was reported in the media to have said unequivocally said that: "I cannot condone injustice. Don't give it to me, I won't give it to anybody. I detest injustice".

To the best of my knowledge based on what I read in the media, Rt Hon. Victor Ochei is doing exactly what Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru did and believes in.

Rt Hon. Victor Ochei is aggrieved and believes the Delta State APC Guber Primary was a fraud and not in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, APC Constitution and the Consent Judgement of Court in respect of Delta State APC internal Dispute.

Ochei simply seeks that the Court declares the APC Guber Primary null and void and to order a fresh Primary where himself, Chief Ogboru, Prof. Utomi Pat and Chief Cairo Ojugbo will freely participate and be satisfied that the process is free, fair, transparent and credible for justice to be equally done to all of them and the Will of APC members, prevails. What then is wrong with this?

Permit me to state the few facts here to help Deltans and Nigerians understand the issue:

(1) it is a public knowledge that Rt Hon. Victor Ochei and Gov. Okowa are for some years now not in good terms at all because Ochei. He is perceived and treated as the real and leading threat to Gov. Okowa in Delta North Politics and his quest for Governorship since he Ochei has also shown interest and determination to be Governor of Delta State.

(2) in December 2014 against the instruction of some powers-that-be in PDP, Rt Hon Ochei vied in PDP Guber Primary along with Sen. Okowa and Chief David Edevbe, a leading Aspirant of Urhobo extraction. Okowa narrowly got few more votes than Edevbe and Ochei to become PDP Guber Candidate.

Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru
Why then are some Urhobos and Deltans loyal to Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru now accusing Rt Hon. Victor Ochei of being sponsored by Gov. Okowa against Chief Ogboru just because he is in Court seeking Justice as Ogboru has consistently done?

Haba!

I am not a member of PDP or APC and won't be. I am a Deltan and stand only for the Truth and Justice.

I was the Governorship Candidate of Peoples Redempton Party (PRP) in Delta State Elections from 2007 - 2012 and have the benefit of knowledge of inner intrigues of politics and "elections" in Delta State.
