The Isoko Development Union (IDU) Port-Harcourt branch has held a prayer session recently to pray for development, progress and unity of the Isoko nation.
During the prayer, a servant of God, Venerable Dr. Israel Omosioni JP has prophecised that the people of Isoko Ethnic Nationality of Delta State have been prophetically told that if they could put their house in order politically, it is God’s time for them to produce the next executive governor of the State.
This prophetic declaration was made by God’s servant, Venerable Dr. Israel Omosioni JP, at a prayer convocation organized by Isoko Development Union, Port-Harcourt Prayer Committee (IDUPC) which took place recently in Port-Harcourt.
Ven. Omosioni, who was the Guest preacher at the occasion said “a new crop of politicians are being raised by God in Isoko land to attain this purpose. For the Isoko people, winning is now to produce the next governor of the state”.
“How? By the mercy of God”. According to him, now is the time for God to honor Isoko land and its people. Ven. Omosioni affirmed that the time for God to favour Isoko people is now, stressing that “You cannot curse what God has blessed”.
Ven. Dr. Omosioni however cautioned that for this revelation to come through, prayer was needed by all the Isoko people everywhere. How shall this be? How can we produce the next governor? Through prayers. “Let’s Prayer-rise it, he said.
Earlier in his address, the Isoko Development Union Port-Harcourt President, Pastor David Aluya-ovih called on every Isoko son and daughter to always pray for God’s plan for Isoko land to be realized. According to Pastor Aluya-ovih, for Isoko man or woman to became governor or minister of he Federal Government, or even richest person in Nigeria or Africa, prayer was needful, because God’s Word says pray without ceasing.
Pastor David Aluya-ovih further called on all Isoko sons/daughters who are not relevant in their clan and town meetings to turn a new leaf and be always punctual in all such gatherings for the overall development of the land.
On his part, the chairman of the special prayer committee, Pastor Joseph Obegba in his welcome speech, charged, called upon all present to see the prayer summit as a wake-up call to every Isoko person to rise up in prayer for a positive change in the land of Isoko. “you all will agree with me that biblically prayer is a key to breakthrough to any people” he said.
Pastor Obegba noted that Isoko had lagged behind in so many things for too long. He recalled that for a long time Isoko had remained two Local Government Areas only, inspite of its large population and land space.
The prayer convocation witnessed other Senior Ministers of God from Isoko Land, who officiated at the ceremony. They included Rt. Rev. Dr. Ben Egwebe Jp. Arch Bishop Dr. Julius Ediwe, Bishop Dr. Shadrach Abudude JP. And Rev. Dr. Clem Emekene of Glory Reign Assembly, the host of the programme.
