A 46-year-old woman, Ittu Affiong Theresa Tommy, is now on the run after allegedly collecting aircraft spare parts valued at over $1.4 million from a Russian company under the pretext of supplying same to a government agency.
She is also been hunted for receiving over N1 billion from a government agency to execute some contracts which were never done.
Tommy is, however, being hunted by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Agents of the commission have sealed up her last known address in Oko Awo Close, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was gathered that the suspect used the contract she got from a government agency as a bait for the foreign firm to supply her aircraft spare parts she defaulted in paying for.
The firm petitioned the commission and further probe of her activities and her gang revealed that she had abandoned the contracts she was to execute.
