SCHOLARSHIP: Ossai gives scholarship, doles out cash to Students

Governor's aide, Ovie Success Ossai, has given scholarship to students of Delta State college of education, Warri - - He said he feels the pain of students, hence he decides to contribute to the education of the students. He   gave scholarship to final year students of Delta state college of education, Warri on 26/04/2017. 

Ossai, who is the youngest aide to the state governor, handed the cash grant to the students at the college of education premises amidst celebration from his colleagues and friends. 

Recall, Ossai graduated from the college in 2012, saying he feel the pains of students because many of the students are struggling to fund their education, hence the need to assist few of them within his ability. 

It could be recalled that in February this year he paid for the release of three prison inmates in Ogwashi Uku medium security prison because of his passion for the development of humanity.

He explained that the scholarship is in tandem with Governor Okowa’s agenda and is to enhance the education development of youths in order to assist them in their various careers. 

"My gesture was aimed at mitigating the hardship parents face in sending their children to school, the current economic challenges have affected parents and students. “Today I am privileged to be in the position as Personal Assistant to Delta State Governor and by the grace of God I am 25” I am a youth, so I see different reasons of helping the youths out there, I know how it feel facing education challenges, I know how it feels when you have no money for your upkeeps, I know how it feels when you are broke in school, I know how it feels when you are struggling in school. “I will not stop helping the needy as long I am in position to help them, it is all joy helping those who are in need," he said. 

Comr Francis Omovigho Agbinone and Rufus Walter Perejitei, who are members of Ossai Ovie Success Foundation and members of Chosen People Parliament, commended Ossai for his kind gestures toward the students of College Of Education in Warri.
