The people of Rufus Street off Udu road near Ovwian Secondary School,
Ovwian, Udu L.G.A Delta State. Were thrown in a state of pandemonium at about
4pm on the 16th of October, 2017 when a baby of about 7, months was
found in a little Ugu Farm among ridges dug for vegetables (Ugu)
According to the owner of the garden, the baby was found when she was
checking the ridges suspected to be tempered with by unknown persons that
evening when she came to her store for sales. She then alerted the full street
with a shout that drew the attention of passersby including those at home to
the scene of the incident.
According to eye witness at the scene of the incident asserted that those
behind the abortion of the child would be around the area hence the guts of
dumping the aborted child within. Both men and women at the scene placed curses
on those behind the abortion of the baby boy differently.
Meanwhile at the time of this report the Nigeria Police Ovwian Division are
yet to be contacted of the incident.
