……..as “octoprise” holds October 2017

Evang. Pius Okuwoma hails from uzere in isoko south local government area of Delta state. He is a music director/gospel artiste and currently the director of music Essential Band.

In this short interview with Isoko mirror, he reflected on how he started his music career in 1993 in Ondo state and later relocated to Delta state in 1999. He talked about some of his albums and his expectations in the “octopraise” programme season 1 whose aims and objectives is to assemble Christians all over the world, not minding their tribes and denominations to jointly offer undiluted praises to God almighty and which scheduled to hold in the month of october every year.

LET US KNOW YOU?

My name is Evangelist Pius Okuwoma.  I am from Uzere, Isoko south LGA. I am an ordained Deacon of Christ Apostolic Church and a music director/Gospel artiste. By the grace of God I am the director of music essential Band.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AN EVANGELIST/GOSPEL MUSICIAN?

I started my music ministry since 1993 at Ondo state and I later relocated to Delta State in 1999, so I have been in the ministry for about 24years now. 

DO YOU HAVE ANY ALBUM TO YOUR CREDIT,? IF YES HOW MANY? 

Yes I have personal albums. By the grace of God I have six (6) albums. 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR UP COMING EVENT?

My up coming event is tagged "OCTPRAISE" season 1.

Theme: The next level praise (psalms 67:6-7). Octopraise is a direct inspiration from God which is aimed at assembling Christians all over the world from every tribes and denominations to jointly offer to God undiluted praises. It is an annual praise program which is scheduled to be held in the month of October every year. 

WHO ARE THE MUSICIANS YOUR FANS ARE EXPECTING? 

By the grace of God, the program is power packed. We are expecting the following Gospel musicians and great men of God,,

Evangelist (Dr) Emmanuel  Ofano, Pastor Raphael Tedheke, Evangelist Jerry Ekpekuro, Evangelist Solo Kings, Evangelist Moses, Edio, Evangelist Clerk O. G. Clerk. And other anointed gospel choirs. While Pastor Mike Okegwemeh will be the guest speaker and some other great men of God will be in attendance. 

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SHOW TAKING PLACE?

As a matter of fact the event will hold on the 20th October,  2017, at Christ Apostolic Church,  ovwian Udu District htqrs.  150 ovwian main road  warri Delta state, from 9pm prompt till dawn

WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS? 

By the grace of God we have been praying ernestly for this program to come and I am really convinced that there is going to be a total manifestation of the power  God in this program,  as many that are sick shall receive healings. This program is going to bring major breakthrough to as many that will come and worship God in truth and in spirit. God inhabit the praises of his people and praises moves mountains. 

AS A YOUTH WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO THEM AND YOUR ADVICE GENERALLY?

Youthful age is an enviable age that is full of strength and it is very pertinent to understand that we should channel these strength into a positive course that will glorify God and also affect our generation  positively.  My general advice is simple discover your dream and pursue it with vigor. This scripture will bless your life.  Proverbs 3:5-6. God bless you
