2019: Opposition calls for Ogor's withdrawal clear signs of jittery over imminent electoral defeat - PDP

The Media and Publicity Directorate of the Isoko North Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Campaign Committee has read with laughter, the jittery and panic filled advice by a former member of the Delta House of Assembly and a member of the APC, Hon. Lucky Okperi, that the candidate of the PDP for the Isoko Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Leo Ogor should withdraw from the race.

The apparent contradictions contained in the statement explains clearly the extent of fear of electoral defeat that has gripped the opposition. If not so, one wonders why a party that boasts of having the support of the entire Isoko people will not wait to trounce their opponent in the polls to confirm such popularity. Why the futile struggle and desperation to get the PDP candidate and clear favourite to step down?

Hon. Leo Ogor.
For the avoidance of doubt, the PDP wishes to inform Hon. Okperi, his co-travellers and political party, that Rt Hon. Leo Ogor's entrance into the race of the Isoko Federal seat was borne out of extensive consultation with a large spectrum of Isoko people in various segments of community, religious, socio-cultural and political leadership and a mandate clearly given to him by his political party. With all sense of humility and responsibility,  we wish to state with gratitude that Rt Hon Leo Ogor remains the surest choice of the majority of Isoko people given his outstanding and effective representation. It is our humble appeal to the opposition not to cause disaffection in Isoko nation or heat up the polity in the name of politics as the people always reserve the right to choose their representatives at all levels.

We wish to educate Hon. Okperi who obviously has lost touch with reality after an uneventful stint as a member of the Delta State House of Assembly, that elections are not won on mere wishful thinking, name dropping and whipping of cheap sentiments. Electoral victories are rather products of issue based campaigns, visible tract records of achievements, wide consultations and overwhelming support of the people. All of these with all amount of confidence are clearly in favour of Hon Leo Ogor.

HOLY WAR! Anglican Bishop attacks Fr Mbaka and other pastors who make fake prophecies about 2019 election

Anglican Bishop of Asaba Diocese, Bishop Justus Mogekwu who once described the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Federal Government as clueless and unfit for governance and also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of complicity in the Islamization agenda of the Northern Oligarchy has cautioned Nigerian clergymen over utterances capable of destroying the nation’s unity. The Bishop, who stated this on Sunday at the Cathedral in Asaba, said pastors and church leaders who begin to say “this person will win, this person will lose” have gone beyond their boundary. He said, “You can see that a lot of them are doing it for personal aggrandizement like in the case of Rf Mbaka and Peter Obi

“They need money, they wanjt money. They want to be in the good books of those to be in power.
“And this is where I have a grouse with church leaders who tell you this man is going to win or that man is going to lose.Sometimes, they prophesy that a certain person or politician will die. It is very ungodly. You have no right. Even if you know somebody will die, what does it amount to you proclaiming it? Does that stop the death from coming?

“If God has revealed to you that so so person will die unless he changes his status, that is a different matter “In that case, you go and meet the person and tell him/her, ‘This is what God has said about you, but if you change, God will forgive you.You don’t go public to draw credit to yourself. That is what a lot of them are doing.”

Bishop Mogekwu argued that it was out of place for a minister of to God to speak on issues that are capable of destroying the unity of country, noting that though ministers of God could be involved in politics, they should not join a political party or arrogate to themselves the right to decide which party will win or which party will lose.

According to the Anglican Bishop: “Mr. President’s ineptitude has allegedly allowed some evil, wanton corruption and widespread killings, We hear that President Buhari claimed that the majority of Nigerians have requested him to contest again for a second term, it is unfair, he has done nothing to justify his second tenure”.

Bishop Mogekwu who spoke to newsmen in Asaba in an interview said: “happenings all over the country as reported in the media, is a rehash of the ineptitude and clueless of the Buhari administration, and shows that the Hausa/Fulani Islamist Oligarchy has no positive developmental plan for this country”.

The Bishop has called on Christians to pray ceaselessly for the peace and unity of Nigeria.

Mogekwu stated: “prayer is the key to surmount all challenges facing the country. God who answers prayers will never forsake the country if only the people will turn away from evil and do His will at all time. The Federal Government should, as a matter of urgency take decisive steps to put a stop to the spate of killings in the country and prosecute those found culpable.

Commending the governor of the state, he urged politicians not to heat up the polity, especially now that 2019 general elections is fast approaching, saying that all hands should be on deck to move the country forward so that she can take her pride of place once again in the comity of nations.

He called on Christians to uphold their faith and propagate the gospel of Christ, urging government to use federal establishments and institutions, especially the Armed Forces and the Police for national interest and wellbeing of all Nigerians and not for personal, sectional or political interests.

How I disconnected CCTV, robbed my boss in Lagos – Househelp confesses

A househelp, Usang Bassey, aka Ben Peters, who was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for breaking into his employer’s bedroom and stealing valuables, has revealed that he duplicated the bedroom key to gain access.
Narrating how he committed the crime before reporters yesterday in Lagos, Usang Bassey Effiong, who committed the act 11 days after he was employed, said: “I noted where Mr. Okoye usually hide his bedroom key and to gain access to the room, I went ahead and made a copy of the key.
“Before I broke into their bedroom, I disconnected the CCTV camera so that I won’t be detected.
“Afterward, I stole their valuables and thereafter, drove off with their car.
“Robbing the couple was easy for me because the househelp they dismissed before employing me, one Matthew Johnson Abam, was a member of our gang. He had furnished me with relevant information about the couple even before I came to live with them,” he said as he was being paraded by the police.
It was learnt that seventy-three-year-old retiree, Mr. Alexander Okoye, and his wife Mrs Njideka Okoye, employed one Ben Peters as househelp on October 12, who they later discovered his real names are Usang Bassey Effiong.
On October 24, Mr. and Mrs Okoye petitioned Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Imohimi Edgal, complaining of how the said Ben Peters, who was with them for just 11 days, stole their valuables including their car, five thousand dollars, six shirts and a mobile phone.
It was gathered that based on their complaint, the CP directed CSP Kemi Adedeji‘s team attached to the Command’s Human Rights section to launch a manhunt for the fleeing house help.

Two months after the incident, the said Usang Bassey Effiong aka Ben Peters, was arrested at a hideout in Agege, Lagos and some of the stolen items recovered from him.

Janet Jackson joins her brother Michael

Janet Jackson joins her brother Michael and The Jackson 5 as members of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame alongside Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks.
Janet Jackson joins her brother Michael and the Jackson 5 as members of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, earning induction on Thursday along with Stevie Nicks and the top fan vote-getter, Def Leppard.
Radiohead, the Cure, Roxy Music and the Zombies will also be ushered in next spring at the 34th induction ceremony. It will be held March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Jackson’s induction comes after her third time as nominee and many saw it as overdue, given her prowess as a hitmaker with ‘All For You,’ ”That’s the Way Love Goes,’ ”Nasty,’ ”Together Again’ and ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately.
Her career has suffered from the fallout after the infamous 2004 Super Bowl appearance where her bare breast was briefly exposed. Jackson became eligible for the rock hall in 2007 and wasn’t nominated until 2016.
The Roots’ Questlove, in a social media post earlier this year, said her exclusion had been ‘highly criminal.’ He cited the influence of her 1986 album ‘Control,’ which he said set off the New Jack Swing trend.
‘This was no one’s kid sister,’ he wrote.
It will be Nicks’ second induction into the rock hall, since she’s already there as a member of Fleetwood Mac. She launched a solo career in 1981 with her duet with the late Tom Petty, ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.’ Other hits followed, including ‘Edge of Seventeen,’ ”Stand Back’ and ‘I Will Run to You.’
Def Leppard earned more than half a million votes from fans, which are incorporated into more than 1,000 ballots from artists, historians, industry professionals and past winners in deciding who gets honored. The British heavy metal band with a pop sheen were huge sellers in the 1980s on the back of songs like ‘Photograph’ and ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me.’
Frontman Joe Elliott said he was initially ambivalent toward the honor until Jon Bon Jovi suggested it would change his life.
‘When I look at the list of who’s in, it’s just obvious you’d want to be in that club, isn’t it?’ he told Billboard earlier this year. ‘When you think that every band that means anything in the world, starting from the Beatles and the Stones and any artist that influenced them – your Chuck Berrys, your Little Richards, etc., etc. – then of course you want to be in. Why wouldn’t you?’
Def Leppard, Nicks and Roxy Music were voted in during their first years as nominees. Other 2019 nominees who didn’t make the cut included LL Cool J, Devo, Rage Against the Machine, MC5, John Prine, Todd Rundgren and Kraftwerk.
There’s some question about whether Radiohead will shrug its collective shoulder as a nominee. The English band seemed like generic grunge rockers on their initial hit ‘Creep,’ but with the album ‘OK Computer’ and beyond have become consistent sonic pioneers. Among its rock hall class, Radiohead has the most impact on the current music scene.

In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood said ‘I don’t care’ when asked about the rock hall. Bandmate Ed O’Brien said, ‘culturally, I don’t understand it. I think it might be a quintessentially American thing.’

Gov’s adviser impregnates 15-yr-old girl, dates mother

Special Adviser to Cross River State Governor on Biodiversity, Mr. Edet Okon Asim, is now in police custody for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl (names withheld), for three years running and causing her to have three abortions for him. The girl, a student of the Federal Government Girls College, Calabar, was allegedly lured into an illicit relationship with the former commissioner, who was said to be dating her mother.
The relationship with the teenager, however, resulted into two previous abortions. However, the third abortion, which was said to have been with the knowledge of her mother, whose name was simply given as Madam Stella, allegedly damaged her uterus, a development that has brought the matter into public glare.
The 15-year-old girl has been hospitalised in Calabar due to complications from the third abortion. It was further gathered that Stella, who was Asim’s mistress, had consented to the relationship between him and her daughter. Stella has also been arrested. A source, who did not wish to be named, disclosed that Stella was married to a popular Calabarbased pastor, now late, who was a good friend to Asim. Stella had two children for the deceased clergyman; the first one happened to be the victim, while the second is a boy. Not long after the pastor died, the source added, Stella went into a relationship with Asim, a former Cross River State Commissioner for Information, whom she called her “Destiny Saver.”
The victim’s mother, who is said to be a caterer, maintains apartments in Uyo and Calabar where the victim stays. It was further alleged that Stella warned her daughter not to reveal the incident or her present predicament to anyone. After the third abortion had been carried out by a quack, her womb became perforated. The girl’s teacher, whose name was shielded, was said to have found out and shared the story on a WhatsApp group where human rights activist and the founder of Project Alert, a non-governmental organization (NGO), which specializes in handling such cases, Mrs. Josephine Chukwuma, is a member. Chukwuma was said to have swung into action and contacted the Basic Rights Council Initiative founded by child rights activist, Barrister James Ibor.
The police were eventually contacted, leading to the arrest of Asim and Stella. Asim and Stella, according to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Irene Ugbo, would be moved from the Airport Division, where the case was reported, to the state command at Diamond Hill, Calabar. When our correspondent called the PPRO to confirm the matter, she said: “Yes, they are in our custody.
They are still writing their statements. Edet Okon Asim and a woman were dating and later the man started dating the woman’s daughter. Before now, the victim has done two abortions for the man. The woman seems to have been using her daughter to collect money from the man. This is the third abortion and there was a complication.
The case was reported at the Airport Police Station. We are going to transfer the case to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department (SCII).” Josephine Effah-Chukwuma, who took to her Facebook page to talk about the case, said: “Another young child is in hospital in Calabar now struggling for her dear life as a result of repeated sexual abuse and abortion by her mother on behalf of her boyfriend.
“There is definitely a special hell on earth and heaven for mothers who look the other way while their husbands, boyfriends and men friends sexually abuse their daughters. Such women are guiltier than the men. “ProjectAlert Vaw is on top of this case with James Ibor, the Executive Director of Basic Rights Initiative, a child rights NGO based in Calabar. We are sending a petition to the Inspector- General of Police, because we suspect that being a politician, the suspect will be pressing all the buttons on his phones now. “The child is a student of FGGC, Calabar, and so we use this opportunity to call on FGGC Old Students Association to rise up to the occasion in ensuring justice for this child. Project Alert and Basic Rights Initiative are currently picking up the medical bills of this child.”
The story, which was also on CrossRiverWatch online, states: “A former local government chairman of Calabar Municipal and Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade on Biodiversity, Mr. Edet Okon Asim, is currently in police custody for continuously defiling an under-aged girl (names withheld) for a period spanning about three years. “The girl is said to have been coerced into aborting two pregnancies for Mr. Asim with consent from her mother and has damaged her uterus while carrying out a third abortion earlier this year before the matter became public. Stella has been seeing Mr. Asim and kept calling him, her “Destiny Saver.”
“The relationship has been going on for years and when her daughter began developing feminine features, Asim is said to have taken interest and she often visited the former council boss for holidays and in the company of her mother where they most times, stay for lengthy number of days. The victims’ mother is said to have kept warning her against opening up and collaborated with the suspect in the serial abuse.

The victim got pregnant twice and aborted with the help of her mother and Mr. Asim who always bore the financial brunt. And after the third abortion which is said to have been carried out by a quack, her womb became perforated.” A source said: “I would want us to pause, take a step back and revisit Ochanya’s case as I just got to know that politicians in the state are trying to kill it. They are now saying Ochanya died of malaria. It is my hope that FIDA Benue and everyone on ground there have all loose ends tied. “Another one has broken in my home state of Cross River. She’s also 15 years old and a student of FGGC, Calabar. The perpetrators are her widowed mother and her boyfriend, who is a politician and a former commissioner in the state. She is not dead, but currently very sick in hospital as her womb, I learnt, has been perforated due to a quack abortion her mother took her to do, to cover up for her lover boy.”

Okowa, Ibori calls for soul winning for Chrtist ... As Divine Way Baptist Church clocks 25 years

Dr Ifeanyi Okowa
DELTA State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and former Governor of the state, Chief James Ibori have called on Christians to be actively involved in evangelism to win souls for Christ.
They both spoke on the 23rd December 2018 at the 25th anniversary celebration of Divine Way Baptist Church, Asaba.
"Soul winning is the call of every Christian," Governor Okowa stated, noting that while befitting structures are necessary for the comfort of those who worships God, the greatest task before every Christian is to win more souls for Christ.
He commended the Divine-Way Baptist Church for midwifing the birth of several churches, observing that it was important for more people to know the importance of serving God.
"I am glad that this Church has grown and is more interested in soul winning," the governor asserted and used the occasion to call on Christians to reconcile themselves with God as they celebrate Christmas.
He stated, "this is a season to rejoice because of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ; it is about your reconciliation with God, get people reconciled with Him, carry the message of Jesus Christ to more people."
Chief Ibori in a brief speech as the Chairman of the occasion, said, "everybody should be involved in the growth of the church."
The former Governor urged Christians not to limits their activities to building physical structures for God but, to be involved in attracting more people to worship God.
Rev. Dr. Ihwighwu in a sermon at the event, observed that "celebrating God without an encounter with God is no celebration."
He urged Christians to have encounter with God and always go out to testify the goodness of God to the people.
Chairman of the anniversary committee, Dr Amos Ighorodje in an address, said, "the occasion is to thank God for all He has done for every one of us."
The celebration was capped with the launching of the twin pastorium of the church.

Elozino: Rights group, Urhobo youths demand removal of DELSU VC

The Chairman, Committee for the Defense of Human Rights (CDHR), Comr. Prince Taiga, has backed the call by Urhobo youths under the aegis of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youth Wing, for the removal of Professor Victor Peretomode as Vice Chancellor, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka over his refusal to disengage Deogratas, the security outfit fingered in the murder of a 300 level student of the institution by ritualists.
Speaking during a phone conversation, the CDHR boss disclosed that during the protest by Urhobo youths which will hold in January when DELSU students return from holidays, the rights group would join in shutting down the university if the VC fails to yield to the demands of Urhobo youths that include disengaging Deogratas security outfit.
His words: “If Deogratas are not disengaged such ritual killings are likely to continue. If DELSU fails to disengage them, there will be a massive protest and the whole school will be shut down with all environmental laws defiled. “If the management refuses to disengage them, then I think there is a conspiracy amongst them to be using our students for rituals.”
According to him, policemen are raiding Abraka and arresting internet fraudsters (many of whom are ritualists) to Asaba and later granting them bail with huge amount of money.
He commended the UPU youth executive for taking up the fight to pressure DELSU management to do what is right. Continuing, he blamed Uduaghan who appointed him as VC. He said: “Peretomode doesn’t behave like an academic at all. Recently he tried to stop some graduates of the institution from going for their National Youth Service Corps over discrepancies in the age they declared with what was in the certificates they submitted.
“I had to put a call to him and told him that he would face the law if he does not allow them to go for their service. That was when he then allowed them to go.

We urge the government not to renew his tenure when it ends. We even want the state government to remove him immediately.” Meanwhile, executive members of UPU Youth Wing, yesterday, visited the Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh, Ojeta II. During an exclusive interview, Comr. Louis Emuobonuvie Anidi, President, UPU Youth Wing, disclosed that the visit was made to receive firsthand information from the monarch regarding the relationship between DELSU management and the host community, saying that from what they gathered from both the youths and the monarch, DELSU is not carrying out their cooperate social responsibility to Abraka.
He disclosed that the protest will come in January, saying that the 7-day ultimatum given to the management to disengage Deogratas has expired and that the VC tried to play a fast one on them by asking students to go on holidays.

He continued: “We have written to him for dialogue and I even learnt that the community has done same too. But the condition he gave us is that the community will not be present if he must meet with UPU. It cannot work that way.” He listed their demands to DELSU to include disengaging Deogratas, giving job opportunities to indigenous contractors in fulfillment of her cooperate social responsibilities and giving admission to the host community. Furthermore, he said: “The VC chooses to do what he pleases and does not have a single regard for the monarch and I know he cannot do this in his own community. We will ask the VC to leave Abraka and call on the government of the day or the Governing Council to give us another VC if he continues to do what he likes. “The VC must yield and bow to our demands. School will resume soon and we will continue from where we stopped about the issue of a massive protest.” Also, the 2nd Vice President of the youth body, Comr. Bayo Eyube, who is also an indigene of Abraka and a former youth president of the kingdom, said that UPU youth executive paid the youths of the community a visit in respect of the marginalization of the community in many ways, saying that the VC failed to implement the local content law that favours the host community. “A lot of persons have been feeling the pain, but we had no one to bare the cart. But, thank God that today the UPU has come to wipe away our tears in order to stop this oppression,” he averred. He said: “We don’t have employments, admission for our youths and a running contract from the management. “In the north they beg students to come and learn. Here we have a lot of graduates that don’t have a job. He gives our job slots to the Itsekiris, Aniomas and the Ijaws and so what is our benefit. “Before now, no one has stood up to correct this oppression. The VC operates a system of divide and rule. We want to stop this oppression so that any other VC coming in will not tow this line.” He added: “If the VC does not have interest in Deogratas, he would have long disengaged them.” On his part, the group’s secretary, Comr. Efemena Umukoro, stressed that the UPU’s mandate includes defending, protecting and promoting the interest of Urhobo communities. “All we are asking for is that Deogratas security be disengaged because we do not know if there are other ex-convicts amongst them,” he stressed. He called on parents to add their voice to this call, saying that in Nigeria our institutions must learn to prevent crime, as he called on the state government to call the VC to order. According to him, if not that the students were asked to vacate, Urhobo youths were prepared to hold the mother of all protests and shut down the school immediately after the 7-day ultimatum expired. To DELSU management, he said: “Disengage Deogratas security outfit, respect the host community and stakeholders and then we can all live as one.” Umukoro said that Peretomode’s threat of using military force to quell the planned protest was laughable.
Furthermore, he said: “We are mobilizing the entire Urhobo structure for that protest. Does he think he can insult our monarchs, chiefs and youths and go scot free? He has overstayed his welcome and he must live.”

Eregare is the man to be trusted in 2019, ready to deliver goods and services

By Simeon Okworide
A group in Ethiope Federal constituency has endorsed Chief Robinson Eregare as their candidate in 2019 general elections. The group observed that having gone through the profile of Eregare it is convincing  that the man has performed credibly well in all the areas he has served and managed during his days as a police officer. The group therefore called on all discerning minds should take this opportunity available  to change the political narratives so as to move Ethiope constituency forward believing that Eregare will bring progress, development and quality representation.
Chief Robinson Eregare is one man that will change the political narratives and directives of Ethiope federal constituency in 2019 general elections. He is contesting for the position of honourable member of House of representatives as a member to represent Ethiope federal constituency after his victory in 2019 general elections.
It is imperative to state without any kind of ambiguity that during his days as a police officer, he carried out his functions as assigned to him dutifully and diligently without compromise as he made steady progress despite  challenges met on ground. He was able to prove to his subordinates that leadership is all about serving the people because a visit to some of the divisions he managed will convince one of his administrative leadership quality impacted on those divisions. it is no exaggeration therefore, when he was described as a man who is humble with a sense of decorum and humility because he was approachable and accessible without any form of impediments, in other words, he was known for operating an open door policy without any form of discrimination.
It is gratifying to note here, that Chief Robinson Eregare, an accomplished police officer and leader has taken the right decision to represent his people with all his wealth of experience at the federal house of representatives. It is therefore reasonable for the people of Ethiope federal constituency to grab this available opportunity before them to vote massively for Robinson Eregare in 2019 general elections as this will avail them the ample opportunity of getting quality and people oriented representation at the federal House of representatives as this will attract peoples oriented programmes and investment that will turn around the good people of Ethiope federal constituency.
For the few years I had followed Eregare, I discovered that his kind are very rare and having performed creditably well in the divisions he heldsway in the police force is a testimony to the fact that the gift of leadership has been bestowed on him by God almighty and therefore a vote for Eregare is a vote for the right choice, choosen by God to save the people of Ethiope federal constituency from ineptitude leadership because his leadership will bring succor to the people.

What we need now is people like Eregare who can provide quality leadership to the people, a leader that is sensitive to the plight and aspirations of his people and not money bags politicians who have nothing to offer, therefore the people of Ethiope federal constituency must not vote based on political platform but, on individuals who have impeccable characters to deliver goods and services.

Compliments of the season from Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa

IDU Women's wing holds seminar/skills acquisition … urges Nigerians to shun hate speeches

By Kelvin Ohoror

Isoko Development Union (IDU) women's wing, worldwide under the leadership of Chief Mrs.Felicia Suleiman recently organized a seminar/ skills acquisition at the Isoko Unity House, Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State, with a 'Theme Harmonious Living Among Isoko Women' featuring health, (food and nutrition) safety tips.

While Speaking to newsmen during the epoch making ceremony the President General of the Isoko Development Union Women's Wing, Chief Mrs Suleiman stated that, the reason for this programme harmonious living among Isoko women is that over the years where ever there are women there are always bound to be conflict and there is need to preach the gospel of unity and love to bridge that gap.

According to her, I decided to start with this theme Harmonious Living among Isoko Women to promote the unity and love among the Isoko women, not as if I saw conflict before organising this programme, she stated.

When asked about hate speeches going on in the country as result of the 2019 general elections,Chief Mrs. Suleiman asserted that all these hate speeches will not take Nigeria as a country anywhere, noting that as long as Nigeria want to leave and stay together as one they must learn to promote and tolerate one another.

Mrs.Suleiman reiterate that if there is anything anybody is doing that is wrong must be corrected with love not by pulling them down, saying that Nigeria is our country, we don't have another,we must fight against hatred, wrong criticism and pursue constructive criticism and promote the unity of the country.

On the skills acquisition training Mrs. Suleiman said that the participants are going to benefit immensely from the programme especially the young girls, pointing out that, once the young girls are idle they will be engaged on the wrong thing, but in these skills acquisition, they are going to be taught how to make soap, wigs, juice, smoothie, cake, pastries and perfumery to better their life while waiting for Mr. Right to come.

She pointed out that with what they are learning today they would not have the mindset of running after internet fraudsters known as yahoo boys, noting that, they will become responsible and better suitors will come seeking their hands in marriage.

She therefore used the medium to enjoin the participants to go out there after the training to start practicalizing what they have been taught during the training to enhance their life positively.

The programme was organised for selected women from the 22 clans in Isoko land.

She also enjoined Nigeria to be peaceful and vote rightly by voting the right candidate and expect better 2019.

PLATFORM I saw PDP working against PDP--Prophet Okobri

Prophet Armstrong A. Okobri is the General Superintendent of, The Love of Christ Christian Ministry, a. k. a, The Land of Power, old Ozoro/Oleh road, Okpaivie.

In this interview with Isoko Mirror Regional Editor,Kelvin Ohoror, the cleric bares his mind on some salient  issues concerning 2019 general elections in Delta State and Isoko.

Can we meet you sir?
I am prophet Armstrong A. Okobri, the General Superintendent, The Love of Christ Christian Ministry located at old Ozoro/Oleh Road, Okpaivie. I am a native of Uzere in Isoko South Local Government, Delta State.

You said you want to talk about 2019 elections in Delta State and Isoko South. What did God revealed to you about Delta State gubernatorial election?

Before God will act on anything he will reveal it to his prophets, the deep and the secret things are revealed to prophets. And when it is revealed to us we don't listen to it, so, those who have ear let them hear.

2019 general elections will be one of the greatest election and is going to be very tough from the presidency down to the House of Assembly. Here, in Delta State, I made it known to the press few months ago that governor Ifeanyi Okowa should put his house in order and I am still warning him to put his house in order and re-structure things.

If he does that, he will win the gubernatorial election.Taking millions to men of God don't guarantee victory in an election. Winning an election is more than that, election process is from the Almighty God.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has a good spirit, anything he is involve he always succeed, that spirit of success is still following him. But there are people who are so close to him that want to pull him down, he should take note of this warning. He is thinking they love him, they don't, and that is exactly want happened to former President Goodluck Jonathan, he was thinking all is well.

My advice for him is to work on the people in his party especially the leaders of the party (PDP) in Delta State. What I saw is that, most of them want to work against him.

What did God revealed to you about Isoko South Constituency 1?

I saw PDP losing Isoko Constituency 1 because there is division in the party in the realm of the spirit. The governor, the party leaders must act fast. If proper reconciliation is not done PDP will have serious problem in Isoko South.

You know when I spoke to newsmen this year, I said a candidate from  Oleh is going to win the election in Constituency 1 but the chosen one was rejected, I saw that person they rejected having an appointment bigger than the House of Assembly.

The election in Constituency 1 is going to be very tough, in Constituency 1 in the realm of the spirit the division is up to 5 factions in PDP and I saw PDP working against PDP and that will lead to APC winning the election. The carnal man don't understand spiritual things, if they don't act fast it will make APC have advantage over PDP.

When I warned Hon. Erezi Esievo not to contest she felt I was talking trash, but she failed woefully.

What about Isoko South Constituency 2?

Hon. Ferguson Onwo will win this time around.

You said Hon. Joel Onowakpo will win. How do you know he will win?

Hon. Joel Onowakpo this time around is not because he wants to contest, he is a child of necessity, he is destine to possess the House of Reps, 2019 is for him. Hon. Joel Onowakpo is going to have so much votes. In the realm of the spirit I saw PDP members working for him because God has destine him to win.

Your Prophesy concerning Hon. Erezi Esievo defeat came to past. What is your reaction?

It is a pity for Hon. Erezi Esievo, I don't say things if I don't hear from God, what God has revealed must surely come to pass. She would have support another candidate during the primary election, because I saw a Federal appointment for her. But she has blown the opportunity away because she disobeyed God. God want her to support somebody for that promise to be fulfill, that sacrifice is for her to go higher.

What is your message for the Isoko people  and those in the vineyard of God?

Let me digress a little first, Isoko nation should pray because I saw bloodshed, crisis from now till December between two communities in Isoko. The two communities will fight and there will be so much bloodshed and massacre.

For the question you asked, I am advising Christians to be more united and not to imitate the unbelievers because the unbelievers supposed to imitate us.

Today, some of us doing the work of God are not emulating Jesus Christ, we want to do it the under way round. Today, Christians are forming different associations and these associations cannot function effectively without love, you see crisis in the associations, they form opposition against themselves.

What is rampant among men of God today is false prophecy, lying because of their stomachs .

Offering and tithes is not for the pastor is for the Church but they divert it into cars and houses. What will make men of God to use the money for the church in building so many houses for themselves. The money is to feed the Sheep they are only acquiring wealth for themselves. They are imitating the world instead of the world imitating them.

There is no founder of a Church, you can only be a shepherd. Jesus is the founder of the whole Church. If anyone is telling you is a founder of a Church is an anti -christ  because he has taken the position of Christ.

Did God revealed those two communities to you?

Yes, is Igbide and Okpolo/Enhwe,they will strike before the end of the year.

Is there anything they can do to avert this bloodshed?

We need to pray and sue for peace. It is the word of God that will put an end to the crisis
