2019: Delta Ex-scribe, Macaulay sues for peaceful coexistence

Former Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has sued for peaceful coexistence among Deltans and Nigerians by extension. The call as contained in a New Year Message, signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Iteveh Ekpokpobe, Macaulay said peace must be embraced by all to allow for fast paced development in the new year.

Macaulay said that the peace was even more needed in view of the fact that 2019 is an election year. He urged Nigerians to hold their selves as brothers and to bound well for the trying times which may lie in the proceedings of the year. According to him, the new year ushers in better prospects for a developing Nigeria and as well provides ample opportunities for all Nigerians to garner a better life. He said, "This year is laden with opportunities. It is a year of decision making. It is also a year of results. Our decisions will give us results hence we must be wise with them. It is a year that demands a higher level of understanding." "It dictates the need to understand our selves as well as our neighbours. This understanding must also be build on the foundation of peace. It is only in an atmosphere of peace that we can easily achieve our desired results." He stressed.
