The recent campaign
rally of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), held at the Oleh township
stadium, headquarters of the Isoko South local government area of Delta state,
indeed, exposed James Manager, "SLEEPING MUGABE" senator as he is
"fondly" called by constituents and admirers, that he has nothing to
offer the people of Isoko nation and by extension Delta South senatorial
district which he currently represents and still want to represent in the 2019
general elections.
An opportunity was given
the senator to speak to the people of Isoko nation, rather than telling the
good people of Isoko what he can offer the people if voted for come February,
16, Manager, was shamelessly busy telling the people how he is referred to in
the senate by his colleagues as "ELDER" and he will be the most
oldest ranking senator should he be voted back into the national Assembly, what
a shame and disgrace!
Instead of Manager to
reel out his manifesto and what my Isoko people stand to gain if voted back, he
was busy talking about his opponent and candidate of the All Progressives
Congress, (APC), former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan's past positions, from
Commissioner, to Secretary to the State Government, (SSG) and two terms (8
years) governor and how Uduaghan's administration failed woefully.
According to Manager,
Uduaghan, who was made by the PDP ended up fighting the party and people that
made him what he is today.
senator James Manager |
"In the senate
today, I am called and addressed as "ELDER" not because of my
age but by my years in the senate and by his grace if I return to the senate, I
will be the oldest ranking senator. My opponents, who are contesting against me
today are my senior by age, they were commissioner, Secretary to the State
Government, (SSG) and governor for good 8 years with nothing and they say they
want the senate, is it possible my people.? and he echoed himself on the podium
NOOOOOO!......
Very unfortunate and
disappointing that Manager, who has spent good 16 wasted years in the senate is
still clamouring to return to spend another 4 years so that instead of been
called and addressed as an "ELDER" as claimed. He will now end up
been called and addressed by his colleagues this time around as
"ANCESTOR" so as to be fulfilled as a man.
Rather than engaging
in issue based campaign, the "ELDER" senator was discussing his
opponent, and my Isoko people, this is crystal clear now, that Manager cannot
give what he does not have as such he must be rejected and voted out enmass
come February, 16, 2019.
Manager said he will
resign from the senate, but in his "wiser than the serpent" manner,
he never made mentioned of when he will retire from the senate.
My Isoko people don't
be fooled again for another 4 years and by implication (good 20 years) by the
antics of this Ijaw man, we must shine our eyes well well well and make sure
this Ijaw man is voted out from the senate which in his heart is an inheritance
from his father.
At every given
slightest opportunity, Manager's APC opponent, an Itsekiri man by tribe and
immediate past governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan, will be reeling out
what he can offer if voted for, and according to Uduaghan, among other things,
he will ensure minimum of 6 monthly town hall meetings, to brief and interact
with the stakeholders but ask Manager, in his wasted 16 years how many times
did he called for constituency briefings.......?
Isoko be wise, shine
your eyes and make the right choice to avoid the story that touch.
